Mission Statement
The Jewish Learning Center is an independent, non-profit charitable organization. Presently housed in the Alper Jewish Community Center in Kendall as well as by Greenfield Day School, the center aspires to be a community friendly endeavor, open to all without cost. Classes are taught in various informal community settings including synagogues, schools, and businesses. The Center’s vision is to represent a new dimension of Jewish education empowering people from all walks of Jewish life to join together and learn more about their heritage in an open environment. Experience has shown that when people have a deeper understanding of their heritage, they develop a close connection to the Jewish people. The Jewish Learning Center extends a friendly, upbeat and non-judgmental invitation to all Jewish people in the South Dade community.
